New Braunfels Smoker Season The Firebox Of My Offset Smoker?

Season the firebox of my offset smoker? - new braunfels smoker

I have served a New Braunfels offset smoker to me is good for the last seven years. But he was rusty, especially outside the fire area, and I sanded and painted with 1200 degree grill. The inside of the chimney is properly dried (fat) and does not corrode, but is dry inside the house and a little rust.
Has anyone experience (including oil) in the combustion chamber?

Is the drive that has wheels and the right of the page offset home cooking of 13-14 different positions rack, water, bread, 2 hooks and 2-side door?

If so, I have to compete for 13 years and did not know the fire area.

Is the paint from time to time, START II in the top of the chimney.

receiving no experience, as the blistering heat.
