Bohr Diagram : Fluorine Ion Help Me Understand This Bohr Ion Diagram Please?

Help me understand this Bohr Ion diagram please? - bohr diagram : fluorine ion

Then the element fluorine. Ion drill chart should look like this:

[Fluorine: 2) 8) 8)] -1, which is an anion. I do not understand why there is a surcharge of 8 if the number of valence electrons is 9, and is only 7 But I think it should be [Fluorine: 2) 8) -1. Why did I participate? Please help?

You're right, there should be only 2) 8) -1. The other is a chloride ion.
